Damn, I have to face the VS...
Better than GK since 2009.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything

I'm actually very happy with the variety of bots entered. Only 2 HS, 4 popups and no SNS? That's gotta be a record for stock MW.

Thoughts and predictions on these bots:

Adopted Nazi: Looks kinda fragile and it's quite narrow.  For a Popup, that's not a real good thing.

Butterfly Sting: Doesn't look like the best popup here, but it might dish out some damage and go far.

Complexertivity: Speed might be its only benefit as it is very underweaponed for an HS.

Crouching Robot, Hidden Bear: While it's a dangerous overhead poker, it is super slow.  That might be it's biggest downfall.

Darts.02: It has some defenses, but it's got nothing else.  I'll cut some slack for Joe as it is his first tournament.

DONT TREAD ON ME: Might go far as this is in the Ring Arena, but without frontal protection, that's quite bad.

Hope And Dreams: Might be pretty good at trapping, but it doesn't have much for taking advantage of that, but the bot's pretty good overall

Long Schlong: This might be a bot that might have issues since it's quite fragile and doesn't have too much protection.

Radioactive Whale: Since the back claw is useless overall, it might not go very far as a lot of things are exposed like hell.

Re\/olution: AGOD might be a contributing factor for if it bounces or not.  But it's not too bad since it's like an overhead poker, but unlike S_Ms bot, it has some speed to back it up.

Rules of Nature: For what is (technically) the only hammer here, I think I might do quite well considering my match-ups.

Rough N' Tumble: The narrow length might be good for wedge wars, but might be bad for attacking the opponent.  Could be decent here.

Starburst III: Probably the toughest popup here, but the wedges will be a contributing factor if it does well or not.

VRI-6C: This popup has quite the number of armor, so it might be a great tank and take out those bots with bad wedges or those with none at all.

Zealot: Love this bot as it's (technically) the only hybrid and it's a rare breed to boot.  Might be great at gut-ripping opponents.  This might be one to look out for

Zoom Zoom Flip-Kun!: It's fast, but very fragile.  So, it's gotta hope for a good toss.

Overall, I like the variety and quality here with the entrants.  I'm pretty much on the same boat as Geice in terms of variety.  Good luck folks.

May the best bot win. I'll be waiting patiently for my match.

Adopted Nazi: Way too narrow to be any good against HS or SnS, but there's not a whole lot of HS and there's no SnS. We'll see how good the wedges are.

Butterfly Sting: Generic and narrow. How good it is depends on it's wedges.

Complexertivity: It could beat some of the narrower popups if it didn't have the plow . I can see it lasting a few rounds but that's about it.

Crouching Robot, Hidden Bear: I can see this getting far. A lot of wedges for it to cheese.

Darts.02: Will get 0-3'd twice.

DONT TREAD ON ME: Might win a set if the planets align just right, but it won't get past the second round.

Hope And Dreams: This will be the most boring robot in the tournament and if it wins matches, they'll be by points, but I can see it doing well.

Long Schlong: Will probably win a few rounds before getting slid under by a popup.

Radioactive Whale: Will get 0-3'd twice.

Re\/olution: Sucks against HS. :( I should do well against the popups though.

Rules of Nature: It's performance relies almost entirely in how good it's wedges are. Won't win against ant of the VS either.

Rough N' Tumble: Kind of like H&D but worse. Higher weapon HP though, but that's cancelled out by how narrow it is.

Starburst III: Generic. Wedges are a bit too short, so it automatically loses against the long narrow wedged bots.

VRI-6C: Depends on how good the wedges are.

Zealot: Too many popups for it to do it's job, a real shame.

Zoom Zoom Flip-Kun!: Standard 090901 memebot. It'll either suck or get to the finals.
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

yo mr. AS i was gonna build the EXACT same idea as you (with razors though) but the axles AGOD made it too sketchy. Then I tried a drum design but ran into some other issues. Woulda been funny to see two of the same bot though.

loving the emergence of "stiltz" bots ;)

i'll probably lose to anything with a double wedge. we'll see, i tried to keep the irons really close to the ground to protect against popups.
You got my vote for RA2 Wizard. Always and forever.

Not gonna lie; I was expecting Darts to lose from the get go, so
Darts.02: Will get 0-3'd twice.
Is probably how I'd put it's chances too.
I'm not too familiar with what popups are, so chances are Darts is ridiculously weak to them. After all, it started life as an IRL bot (was gonna upload it to my stock showcase alongside the lightweight Darts.01 but didn't want to give away the entry) that I modified to be... Slightly more resiliant to not dying instantaneously? I'm not sure where I was going with it. Ehh, at least I can learn what works and what doesn't from this.

I'm not very knowledgable on what's likely to win, but I will say that Hope and Dreams, Zealot, and VRI-6C all look particularly vicious.

Good luck to everyone else and rip in pepsi, Darts.

It's ok, Joelu. Getting annihilated in a tournament is the first step to getting good.

Anyway, here's (in my opinion) the robots from best to worst:

Re\/olution
Zealot
Hope and Dreams
Crouching Robot Hidden Whatever
VRI-6C
Rules of Nature
Long Schlong
StarBurst III
Adopted Nazi
Butterfly Sting
DON'T TREAD ON ME
Zoom Zoom Flip-Kun
Rough N' Tumble
Complexertivity
Darts.02
Radioactive Whale

I'm a little pissed I waited so long to enter because I think my entry would probably be in the top half.

And did you just clone Woden from ASAI ? Because your bot and Woden looks exactly the same.

Woden. after i release ASAI 1.0 it will very likely be moved to another team, reskinned, and renamed, but its cool for now. DSA, hpz drive, 6 razors and 2 blacks.

Round 1 Predictions (odds in bracket):

VRI-6C vs. Darts .02 (9.5-0.5)
Darts .02 has no defense against popups whatsoever so it's a free fight for VRI-6C.

Rules of Nature vs. Radioactive Whale (9-1)
If Radioactive Whale's wedges are somehow better than RoN's then it may win, otherwise free fight.

Adopted Nazi
vs. Zealot (7-3)
The only way Zealot can win is if Adopted Nazi misses the first boxrush.

Zoom-Zoom Flip Kun! vs. Rough N' Tumble (5-5)
A total wedge war, can't predict this because wedges are unpredictable.

DONT TREAD ON ME vs. Hopes and Dreams (4.5-5.5)
Similar to above, but Hopes and Dreams have a slight advantage since if DON'T TREAD ON ME can't OOTA it on the first flip then it's wedges are gonna be total crap (fun fact : if you fire your main wedges then they'll lose all of their pressure and be horrible till your bot gets raised off the ground)

Long Schlong vs. Crouching Robot, Hidden Bear (6-4)
Crouching Robot, Hidden Bear's weapons are just gonna suicide against the VS.

Complexity vs. Re\/olution (4-6)
Unless Complexity veers to the side then it'll just gonna get smashed by ReVolution.

Starburst III vs. Butterfly Stink (4.5-5.5)
Also a total wedge war, but I have a sneaking suspicion that Butterfly Stink's gonna slide right in the middle of Starburst 3.......
