Return Of Smart Box: Is it a tradition to have 1 SnS per weight class. I have yet to really look on the others. Anyway, The ramplate seems pointless.Blitz MKII: Very cool design. It might go all the way if it can self-right.Raus III: Could definitely be Avalanche's year this time.Anti-Gravity: The anti-Flipper mode kinda bothers me, but otherwise, it'll tumble a lot of robots.Fighter IV: I feel this is one of the more lackluster Fighter versions...Panzer strike: It's quite awesome in some ways, but the front of the wheel guards bothers me.
Jaguar: Case and point
Venom III: I wonder what's the dif between II and III. Anyway, I always look forward F1's stuff.Sub-Zero: So this is the current stage of Vertigo eh? I wouldn't bet anything on or against it. A good 3rd place robot.Virtue: Mecha 7Valkyrie II: Tbh, I thought that robot was backwards in the showcase. Anyway, it'll be all about the smartzone.V and V: Mecha 10... er... do we count that?
def GetNearestEnemy(self): closest = None min_dist = 9999 min_weighted_dist = 9999 enemies = self.GetEnemies() # target human players first for enemy in enemies: dist = self.GetDistanceToID(enemy) weighted_dist = dist if not plus.isHuman(enemy): weighted_dist += 3 if plus.getLocation(enemy)[1] > 3: weighted_dist += 30000 #Ignore flying sh**-ass annoying drones and destroy fools who compete with lower weight limit if weighted_dist < min_weighted_dist: closest = enemy min_weighted_dist = weighted_dist min_dist = dist return closest, min_dist
Welp, I don't see myself going all the way T.TBtw, those hinged wedges are for bots like Enceladus. Since we didn't know what arena it would be, I didn't want to chance losing to flippers on arenas with low walls.
And where did my HW's distractionbot go?
Eta on bracket announcements?
All these flying robots made me remember ya main main and local ISIS sleeper agent apanx posting this on the discord chat all the way back in October, any chance of you using this? Code: [Select] def GetNearestEnemy(self): closest = None min_dist = 9999 min_weighted_dist = 9999 enemies = self.GetEnemies() # target human players first for enemy in enemies: dist = self.GetDistanceToID(enemy) weighted_dist = dist if not plus.isHuman(enemy): weighted_dist += 3 if plus.getLocation(enemy)[1] > 3: weighted_dist += 30000 #Ignore flying sh**-ass annoying drones and destroy fools who compete with lower weight limit if weighted_dist < min_weighted_dist: closest = enemy min_weighted_dist = weighted_dist min_dist = dist return closest, min_distBelieve it applies to AI/_init_.py
I'm going to release the brackets in a couple of days when I finish work experience, but for now, I am going to give answers to a few of the questions I have.Quote from: Badger on July 09, 2017, 07:50:13 AMAnd where did my HW's distractionbot go?I never got it in time. While my timing was bad, I could have accepted the minibot around 1 week over the final deadline at the maximum, but this was 2 weeks over. That, and Paladin is already OP without a minibot made.
also lol at most toxic guy around calling others out on this sh**
Dude, you SPECIFICALLY told me that you would give me time after the original deadline to rebuild the minibot, because you initially accepted it. You never gave me a second deadline, and now you're forcing me to compete 70kgs underweight becuase you don't like my bot? It takes you literally 5 seconds to update the minibot since I ai'd it for you.And yeah paladin's gonna be super OP in an arena where you basically can't be OOTA'd. Whatever, I only really care anout my SHW entry tbh.
Well at least one grudge match is decided
And now, its about time I reveal the arena, shan't I? The arena I have kept under wraps throughout this tournament's lifespan?It's time.The arena...That will be used...is...THE ROBOGAMES ARENA!!!And let's be blunt here, ADOTIRL Tournament doesn't have a ring to it in all fairness. Let us change that.This tournament is now under its true name at last. And honestly? It's about time...
