Merry blatantly late Christmas and happy blatantly early new year. Sorry that this took a while. Time and motivation was slightly off track, but we're back. I am tempted to possible at least record this first, then focus recording on RMP2, but if you do feel I should focus both at the same time anyway, then let me know.

List of robots that will get screwed:
Polaroid
Angel's Heaven
Starman and Extraterrestrial
Romeo and Juliet
Red Mist
Why Not SK
Christmas Past and Future
Banshee
Ring! Ring!
List of robots that will get screwed:
Polaroid
Gee, thanks.
If I don't win once, I'll be sad. Then, I'll destroy stuff in RA2. Then I'll be happy.
Well, I'm gonna overview this and see how my bots will lose.
Heat A
Biggest opponents: Solar Storm 3, Binary Star Systems
My Pick: Solar Storm
Heat B
My pick: Catalyst or Rooster(if his batteries don't die on him
Heat C
Heat D
My pick: Apogee or Vespin
Heat E
My pick: Pulse 2 or Lynx 2
Heat F
Biggest opponents: Royalty 2.5 and Bad Company
My pick: End-It 2 or Banisher (tbh, hardest heat to call)
Heat Autospies
Heat A
ULL can be a real threat, Nuclear Launch can be a real dark horse of this heat, So many flippers like its robot wars which can be really enjoyable, The champ might actually faced an challenge with all the flippers, my clusters main intention is to abuse the AI and worn them out, I hope it works. High Tide and Polariod are gonna have a hard time by the looks of it
Heat B
If catalyst has hinged wedges it can be a real kicker though, as long as I do't run out of batteries I should be ok, Banshee 3 is not to be underestimated. Oh man rhys you really need to start a showcase because you might be the new baconus in terms of bot quality. Bleed and Tidal are poorly built ngl.
Heat C
2 clusters? thats interesting, I liked hyperorbit tbh, Crapletic can be a real kicker since from the looks of it has a hinged wedge. Darwinian Pred and RIP are gonna have a hard time, better invest on hinged wedges next time
Heat D
Holy now thats a stacked heat, Legacy looking like he gonna pull a backlash when he takes those supports off, Halycon and Vespin can obliterate their opponents with their teeth alone,Wacko looking like witch doctor and Apogee can be an underdog just like most of TR's bots, I feel bad for Red Mist tbh. Its going to get oof'd
Heat E
Lmao this Banshee is totally the second worst next to Angles Heaven, stay classy Code red, I would have liked Christmas past and Future if only the npc's aren't exposed and Why not is pretty run of the mill, Sickle should just sent DJ X tbh, The other 3 are my favs, Pulse 2 is compact af, Lynx being one of my favorite oli builds and Dambuster reminds me so much of behemoth I liked it
Heat F
I like how Toaster despises anything competitive (Brutus and typhoon teeth) when his bot looks pretty much a standard vert with those tree branch forks, goes to show why you shouldn't trust a sh*tposter /rantover. Ring Ring is sure a ringspinner and Bad company doesn't look to bad but is just messy as heck. I like Banisher and End-it albeit looking familiar, duality reminds me so much of nightmare strangler but with 2 wheels and a wedge.
Gl ya'll
Also, bot rundown and opinion, individually:
Solar Storm 3: Looks sturdier than the previous version, with the large wheels and spinner killer wedge. On the other hand, I do think it now looks less sleeker than previous version
High Tide: It will look good if KidDelta covered that small gap between the wedge and the top part tbh
Binary Star Systems: Cool cluster Tombclone from Neon. I like the back part, as well as use of Backlash disc
Nuclear Launch: Looks sleek and cool. Just that
U.L.L: I don't think it's that good looking, with the wedging panel on the flipper and the flipper being hidden on the chassis.
Polaroid: Feels bland to me tbh, with the color of it
Bleed Blue: the front drive part is ugly imo.
Tidal Wave: I think Nightraven should cover the little gap between the plow and the chassis.
Catalyst: Cool drumbot from Doot. I hope that Tornado drums will work well
Banshee 3: Looks a bit bland. Though at least Kaiser added extenders surrounding the chain, plus angled plates to connect that with the chassis.
Rooster: Same opinion with Pathfinder, in that I feel the flipper color don't go well with the rest of the bot imo.
Angle's Heaven: That's just ugly. That long skirt Flipper is just unrealistic.
Darwinian Predator Gen II: My bot. I hope it has enough battery power and last long enough, considering how fragile it is being all alu, as well as being able to wedge.
Rest in Dust Mod2: Idk if it has hinged wedge of any form, but it looks fearful tbh as long as it's not dropping to it's side. I think the large disc can punt opponents once it hits.
Hyperorbit: I like that CW Hyperspace. Looks cool
Starman and Extraterrestrial: Cool cluster tbh. On the other hand, the chassis looks like it's the same as the Lava cluster
Romeo and Juliet: Cool wedgebot. I like that Sev bot. I do find those polycarbonate skirts questionable though
Craplectric: Looks scary and unique. I think it will rip it's opponents to shreds like what it's HW version did to Flipper Time. Doesn't help it looks like it had more teeth than HW version
Apogee: Nice and clean Flipper from TR, as always
Legacy: Cool bot from Pokebro, as always. I love the weapon mounting
Red Mist: Good Botober bot from F1. I like how it's unique for being a puncher.
Halcyon 2: The bit looks cool. I love the flatness of the chassis. Though that teeth amount is questionable, even if it's Matilda teeth.
Wacko Lantern: I think it's a good bot. However, the teeth doesn't fit with the disc seamlessly imo.
Vespin: Looks like a good drumbot tbh. However, yeah, the teethspam
Why Not SK: Looks bland tbh. The wedge also doesn't fit with the bit, with the gap between it and the top part.
Christmas Past and Future: It's a V shaped rammer, giving very bit of a DSL-S vibe to me tbh as it resembles that one bot from that dog team. On the other hand, I do like the unique rammer setup.
Banshee: What is that rammer? It looks bland to me.
Pulse 2: I love the chassis and colorscheme of that bot
Lynx 2: Cool drumbot from Olister, like the rest of his feline drumbot series.
Dambuster: Another cool TR bot. I hope this one will perform better than in Orc's Wars Overclocked.
Royalty 2.5: For some reason, I don't find anything wrong with it or the fork tbh. I think it will perform well. Also going to go off topic a bit to oof at Neon's bite on Evil Toaster.
Banisher: Looks simple and clean.
Ring! Ring!: The most basic and bland out of all the bots in DM3 that are not cancer (which is Angle's Heaven to me). It's just a simple ringspinner that uses ingame skin.
End-it 2: Clean Vanquish clone. My favorite bot from KidDelta.
Bad Company: I don't think it looks that bad tbh. I will prefer more if the drum has full teeth though rather than the current setup Code Red have.
Duality: Clean HS from Primeval. That is all
Edit: Also decided to add heat final and winner prediction
Heat A: Solar Storm 3 vs U.L.L. U.L.L wins
Heat B: Catalyst vs Angle's Heaven. Angle's Heaven wins unfortunately
Heat C: Idk, but I think Hyperorbit for now vs Craplectric. Craplectric wins
Heat D: Apogee vs Vespin. Vespin wins
Heat E: Christmas Past and Future vs Pulse 2. Pulse 2 wins
Heat F: Royalty 2.5 vs Bad Company. Royalty 2.5 wins
Heat A Deathmatch 3 is here!
https://youtu.be/f6grWLNs1f4
Division A Battle 1: Easily Solar Storm 3's fight. High Tide just couldn't fight back really.
Division B Battle 1: I liked how back and forth it was. Unsure of how I would have to give the nod for in the Judge's Decision, but didn't matter once the fatal flip on U.L.L took place.
Division A Battle 2: High Tide just had it rough draw apparently. Hopefully better luck will come next time.
Division B Battle 2: Something I never tested much was Polaroid and its battery life. Turns out it's much worse than in first inspection. Ouch.
Division A Battle 3: Now THIS was a tricky battle to call. While both the Binary Star Systems were conquering and dividing early on, I think ultimately, Solar Storm 3 OOTA'ing one of them sealed the deal for me, and just kept going afterwards.
Division B Battle 3: Polaroid was actually putting up a half-decent fight when it could get under, but power issues strikes again when it got flipped like a pancake on numerous occasions.
Division A Tiebreaker: This wasn't nearly as close as the previous due to not flipping out one of the Star Systems, and instead, Solar Storm just bit the dust when the wheel came off. Yeah, I got a crash in this. Hopefully the Star Systems don't keep this trend going.
Heat Final: Oh boy, Another flipper for BSS to take down. What an odd draw. Congrats to the first multibot I've seen in a while to go far. Maybe we can get more in the finals...
Man Iv'e never been excited to be on the heat finals for the first time, Sorry about your Title Plerco :(
Heat B of Deathmatch 3 is here!
https://youtu.be/brFYY9Pf3Hg
Division A Battle 1: There were some cuts for a reason. This was a rather boring fight, and the only real thing that happened was Bleed Blue losing a wheel, so I had to give a decision to Tidal Wave.
Division B Battle 1: Rooster got a bad draw against a Spinner that can chew away at the wide sides. Unfortunate really.
Division A Battle 2: Boring pushing fight. Catalyst had moments of it juggling it, but still the spike flying away from Tidal Wave gave the real nudge in here for me.
Division B Battle 2: Some good flips here and there, and Angle's Heaven just couldn't fight back after getting stuck on the wall (maybe if the AI for flippers weren't so selective to say the least).
Division A Battle 3: Bleed Blue had it rough from the start, and Catalyst on it and after it.
Division B Battle 3: I was honestly impressed that Angle's Heaven was able to fight back and get some flips in. Yet it's sides was just way too exposed.
Heat Final: Not gonna lie, I thought this was gonna be Banshee 3's fight to win, but turns out the drums of Catalyst can take advantage of the low weapon count on Banshee 3, so that's something. (Yes this match-up was inside the intro, and just a mere conincidence that these two actually did get into the final.
Um, something's wrong here :really_makes_you_think:
[ This attachment cannot be displayed inline in 'Print Page' view ]
sh**, I won that heat? Well, maybe there's reason to be excited after all...
...until Catalyst gets its arse handed to it by B.S. Systems, at least. :V
Heat C of Deathmatch 3 is now up!
https://youtu.be/ykrXeyD0KUU
Division A Battle 1: Not only was the Flipper variant a good call for Darwinian Predator, but Rest in Pieces was way too top heavy to do much, but RIP was capable of doing some crazy damage. It's just a shame the tongue of DW managed to stop it. I would call foul if DW didn't control pretty much most of the fight to begin with. despite the few scratches DW took.
Division B Battle 1: The Multi-bot battle! I was actually looking forward to this, and it was rather hectic trying to keep up. Once Extraterrestrial was down, Starman was just out. Romeo & Juliet were dominating the control, despite Juliet getting somewhat crippled.
Division A Battle surprisingly Rest In Pieces wasn't getting under anything despite having the hinged wedge as well. Poor Bild couldn't catch a break and Hyperboit was taking advantage of such. I'm surprised I didn't trim this fight down as well. Oops.
Division B Battle 2: Oh man, Starman gave small trouble to R&J, so Craplectric was gonna have the field day from the start. Craplectric may have gotten pushed a bit, but not much was truly done. Taking one of the two bots out really put R&J in a corner.
Division A Battle 3: This was the decider for the spot in the final. And DW got bullied from beginning to end. Doesn't help the AI and Jaw weren't putting two-and-two together for DW to save itself. #AIProblems
Division B Battle 3: Craplectric was getting another easy battle from the multi-bot picking, and Extraterrestrial was just not pulling it's weight to help. Also Starman pulling a Top by spinning around for most of the fight was humorous. Why does RA2 seem to do this for VS?
Heat Final: Pure wedge war... sorta. Craplectric just had to get under Hyperboit once to seal the deal, and sealed the deal it has. The draw was somewhat lucky for kix, but will his road in Grand Finals look as generous?
Welp, time to improve RiP!
He was actually designed for countering vs but that not happened at all, gg! :p
#FeelLikeWrecks
Sad that I was unable to get to the heat final or grand final. It was so close imo, but then it got outwedged, and dominated because of it's invertible design by Hyperorbit. At least DP still put up a better performance and won a fight fairly, unlike Breaking Hammers.
Also, looks like a grudge match is in order with Craplectric
Heat D of Deathmatch 3 is now up (Actually it's been up for about two hours now but I completely forgot to even say something so whoops)!
https://youtu.be/dNXsThZymoc
Division A Battle 1: Apogee put up a really good fight, but it just could get itself to flip Legacy out, and losing so many parts really took away from Apogee in the second half of the fight.
Division B Battle 1: Halcyon had these gyro issues upon testing, I did let Hoppin know about this, but I don't exactly remember when we agreed to put in back in, but we would agree some entertainment would come out of it. Good thing Halcyon only had to drive forward against Wacko for a majority of the fight.
Division A Battle 2: Apogee was taking a lot of control and aggression for the fight, although the AI just randomly flipping the weapons still made no sense, but it sadly cost Apogee its battery life, and here's one of the first times I actually had to make an immobility counter. Hopefully I can make it work for the rest of the series now that I actually had to formally use it (Looking back I will have to tweak it a bit so it actually counts down in seconds).
Division B Battle 2: Vespin just murdered Wacko. End of story.
Division A Battle 3: The decider of who would make the Heat Final. Red Mist unfortunately was not designed at all to fight Legacy, so this was a stacked battle to be had.
Division B Battle 3: This is where the gyro issues would cost Halcyon and sadly, it was putting up a really good fight against Vespin as well. I knew the heat was rather stacked, but I didn't damn. I didn't expect such back and forth battles initially.
Heat Final: This would be decided from the initial clash, and Legacy wasn't able to fight back after losing a wheel. Was hoping a heat like this would have a more climatic ending, but sadly no.
I like how the drive motors on Legacy are just straight going through the batteries haha
Also shoutouts to T_R for only giving his bot 90 second's worth of battery power so we didn't have to sit through a full 3 minutes of it not being able to flip anything. Really thinking of the viewer 😂

The not flipping anything is on the part of the crash patch. Flips just fine without it

Understandable tbh. I'm guessing that's what ****ed Halycon 2 as well? It has a very similar weapon setup to Reptilium, which got rekt by the patch
Shoosh, that was dope. Part of me thinks I'd have beaten Vespin had it not for the crash pack heck
There's a pattern emerging of me entering red bots with unconventional weapon systems, doing better than I expect, and going 1-1. I wonder what I'll end up entering for Deathmatch 4? :really_makes_you_think:
ok I'm actually quite happy with reaching it the best final with such a sh**e not. Really I got lucky with the decision system. Apogee and red mist were probably the only 2 Legacy could take and really everyone one was ****ed against sagris.
Heat E of Deathmatch 3 is now up!
https://youtu.be/2jnm0G4mesA
Division A Battle 1: This was surprisingly quick, rather clever from the Christmas Twins. Almost seemed human-like, even if it's just AI.
Division B Battle 1: More and more surprises looking back, as Pulse took advantage of the giant chassis on Lynx as it was on its back. Pulse almost looked like the surface was rather untouched.
Division A Battle 2: Both bots certainly annoyed each other, but Banshee was still pretty aggressive and turned SK on it's back multiple times, so it looked stronger for the Judges decision.
Division B Battle 2: Lynx was really in a spot of desperation to get on the board, so beating Dambuster in a KO was it's only option, and succeeded flawlessly.
Division A Battle 3: Banshee was not the KO type, but the wheels were exposed on the Christmas Twins were exposed. If only they weren't so fast, and Banshee wasn't just using a drill, and the Christmas twins just really good at being annoying.
You know what, Banshee was pretty screwed, at least one of the twins accidentally rolled out of the arena, but by then, the die was cast.
Division B Battle 3: Welp, despite the accidental spoiler before the match started (I knew I would screw up in post again one day >.<), I think Pulse was gonna be too strong for Dambuster anyway.
Heat Final: This was Pulse's Heat to lose from the very beginning, and It's very evident in this match where the Twins couldn't even pin down Pulse.
I may have won, but god damn Pulse 2 is sh** :V
Why not SK was my first IRL bot so i’m not surprised it did as bad as it did
That 11 sec fight was bonkers, I certainly didn't expect the Christmas duo to do so well.
Oof, the big brain ai at the first round was pure quality! :o
Heat F of Deathmatch 3 is now up!
https://youtu.be/vfol7FPQAJk
Division A Battle 1: Apparently I still suck at bot making. Making the wedge too steep to really do anything against Royalty was something I didn't prepare for. No I totally didn't think of entering Banisher after the success of Solar Storm. What are you talking about?
Division B Battle 1: The one area End-It can stop Bad Company was in the front. Well, that was kinda weird.
Division A Battle 2: Well, I guess either my flipper was too weak to do anything, or Ring Ring just got lucky that Banisher didn't flip it out of the arena. Well, back to the drawing board for me again.
Division B Battle 2: Bad Company lost a wheel and from there he was curtains. Had to implement the count there cause Bad Company was long dead after the fight in the recording.
Division A Battle 3: Normally I'd call an upset on the second seed as well, but A: If I learned anything from DM2, is that seeds often get lucky and get eliminated in the heats, and B: Royalty wasn't prepared to fight Ring Ring in the slightest. I guess due to fighting a ring spinner with an exposed chassis and open tires, it was slightly expected.
Division B Battle 3: Same situation as Ring Ring vs Banisher. Kinda strange to see looking back.
Heat Final: A war of attrition came down to who lost their teeth first, and Ring Ring made it look easy. Also wrapping up the heats with an all spinner Grand Final. This seems familiar...
I was expecting Ring! Ring! to do terrible, but i’m Happy to see it win the heat
Jesus, this was such an OLD version of End-it, brings back memories. Anyway....
I didn't expect to win a fight in that fashion, like, WOW
Also Congrats Sickle!
At last, the Grand Final for Deathmatch 3 is now up!
https://youtu.be/9RQU6kCMcHg
Look, this isn't me trying to be lazy, but it's the finals. Go watch them if you would like to know what happens.
And that's the end of that chapter. I unfortunately won't be doing any grudge matches due to a lack of time on my end, and as for Deathmatch 4? Almost certainly going to happen, but it won't be happening until a little bit later since I have another tournament to complete first and that will take quite a bit of time.
My lazy entry won. I will make a proper CW version of Vespin next time, even if it means sacfricing on the power.
Solid 2nd place, losing to aids was bound from the start
5th place isn't bad, I guess
How the henhouse does your game not crash? Seriously, other than the Ring Ring battle, all of Vespins matches would've destroyed my computer.
I'm arresting Vespin for Rape
How the henhouse does your game not crash? Seriously, other than the Ring Ring battle, all of Vespins matches would've destroyed my computer.
The Crash Patch I made specifically for this helps. And I've gotten a few crashes when recording, but nowhere near as much from previous Deathmatch tournaments. Really, it was the Binary Star Systems that were giving me the most trouble in the Grand Final Matches due to some rampant havoks here and there. But that was about it.
Catalyst sniping ring! ring! Is pretty hilarious, so as BSS getting abused by psychics
Gg to all who entered though, that win is pretty predictable tbh
Nice to see I'm consistently sh*t in Deathmatch, congrats Sagaris

Doesn't the crash patch screw with the physics on some bots? I know that it was a problem for other hosts.
As for the tournament, it's a shame the tryhard typhoon spam drum won, but oh well. Plenty of cool entries and the tournament was well hosted overall, so I suppose it can only be considered a success
