• Stock LW
• All in-game and AI components allowed except cheatbot2.
• No custom components.
• No multibots.
• All building glitches allowed except BFE/AAM/Hax Mode.
• Combat Arena, hazards off.
• 1 free havok restart per match if it seems it affected the match's outcome in a substantial way.
• 8 entrants will each submit two Brother Robots, or BroBots, for a total of 16 bots. When the splash is posted, you will PM me with the name of the bot you want to use against each specific opposing team should you happen to face them. Two entrants may also submit one bot each to work as a team, but then one of them must be designated as the PM'er. I will randomly pick your bots for each match if you do not PM me with your desired matchups before I start filming (but I'll give a reasonable time frame of at least 72 hours or so). The bot decisions may be edited as the tournament goes on, but are not guaranteed to always go through depending on how short of notice they are changed.
• Submitted entries are final; no updates unless absolutely necessary. Both bots must be submitted at the same time.
• If after 30 days, the sign-ups are not filled, the tournament will start anyway and blank spots will be filled with free byes.
• Best 2 out of 3 Deathmatches, plus a Pity Rumble after the main bracket is done. Double elimination.
• The Pity Rumble will be between the 2 entrants who are knocked out of the tournament after the first two rounds, i.e. never win a match. Both of Loser 1's bots will face both of Loser 2's bots in a team rumble for a "loser's winner".
• Awards will include Tournament Winner, Pity Rumble Winner, Most Original, Coolest Looking, Favourite Match, Most Fearsome Brotherhood, and Unluckiest Brotherhood.

I will not be entering. I've always thought the idea of entering your own tournament was pretty weird. Basically what I was trying to aim at with this was to have a tournament where some strategy would also be involved. For example, if your opponent has entered a rammer and HS, and you have to choose between your VS and your hammer, you should probably go with the hammer.

Should be a pretty good tournament, though. Be interesting to see who's entered what designs, and how things go between the pairings.

Wanted to let you know that 10000V (which is totally not the same as your See No Evil entry :s) has "Components/battery.txt" instead of battery2.txt in the .bot file for the Nifty. Kids these days and their BFE...

I'm in two minds about it. On the one hand, you didn't want this bot to be entered, and that screws up your plans and such, but on the other, you know what all the competitor bots are now, so there's nothing to stop you entering a bot designed to beat them. I'm not suggesting that's what you'll do, but it sets a bit of a worrying precedent if we allow it. Since we know it's your See No Evil entry, though, I'm willing to go with it.

I should have realised when you said the bot had an illegal component, but I didn't have a copy of stock so I couldn't see what bot I was sending. The same thing happened in SNE. Now I'm pretty easy to counter because only one of my bots can move properly, and that one only had 1 wheel! D:

Repeating this, as some people like Jonzu and RPJK have PM'ed me with the bot they want to use for the first round.

The PM'ing procedure now works so that you give me a list of all opposing teams, and assign one of your bots to fight against each pair, even if you will not necessarily face them. See the rules for the update.
