Caged Robot Combat League - SIGNS-UPS OPENED (HW (13), CW (13), MW (5))

I am going to try and do something unique alongside while doing/waiting for Game of Robots. Trying something a little different from the normal tournament. And seeing if it will work, Take a look at the Battle Structure especially to learn more of how this will work.
Rules (Sticking with the same rules as GoR):
- DSL-IRL ruleset - Robots must look as close to real-life designs as possible/insides must NOT be clipping through each other nonsensically. (Batteries inside motors, flippers passing through insides etc)
- This tournament will be opened three weight classes MW (249.1 KGS - 399.0 KGS), CW (399.1 KGS – 600.0 KGS) & HW (600.1 KGS – 800.0 KGS)
- RA2CF and DSC IRL packs are allowed and are encouraged for this tournament, along with skinned components.
- BFE/OBJ are legal.
- You must enter your OWN robots and not any that has been made for you.
- Prefer for you to AI your own robots, but if not I will give it a go.
- Make sure that your bot is Wired before sending it to me, this includes also naming the control
- VERTS: 2 large teeth (15-24kgs) ex: Large Typhoon, Ripping Teeth, Large Nightmare, etc OR 4 small teeth (7-14kgs) ex: Small Typhoons, Cutting Teeth, Heavy DS Teeth, etc OR 6 Small/Medium/Large Beaters.
- HORIZONTALS: 3 large teeth (15-24kgs) ex: Large Typhoon, Ripping Teeth, Large Nightmare, etc OR 4 small teeth (7-14kgs) ex: Small Typhoons, Cutting Teeth, Heavy DS Teeth, etc OR 6 Small/Medium/Large Beaters.
- WEDGELESS DRUMS ONLY: Can use up to 10 Small, 8 Medium or 6 Large Beaters. Other teeth types would not be allowed on these bots. Yes, this also means wedgeless drums have more DP allowed than other spinners.
- Mechavore/Minion discs are allowed, but limited to only 1.
- Maximum allowed weapon weight of 100kgs for non-cosmetic damaging weapons allowed on a bot (including dsl bars). This does NOT include your weapon setup (disks, extenders, etc).
- 2400 max dp allowed.
- Use basic common sense if mixing weapons (ex: 4 small typhoons and 2 larges is not allowed)
- These robot types struggle as it is, therefore just don’t take the piss with them. (Example, 5 burst axe bot or sticking everything you can on one axe).
- Front/Rear hinges are allowed up to 1 Beta Burst/Motor or 2 VDMA R/P Bursts/VDMA Front Hinged/Storm Burst/Mag Snappers
- Top Hinges are allowed 1 burst/VDMA/Mag Snapper maximum..
- ALL flipper types must have a flipping arc of 90 degrees _| <- like that
- The only cheatbot2 parts allowed in this tournament are the Overkill/TDD servo motors, Razer Snapper Servos, Stock Bracket Wedges and the Stock Flamethrowers.
- Flatmotors are banned.
- Damaging weapons on the front of rammers/wammers are banned.
- All DSL 2.2 IRL edition armors allowed
- Skirts only allowed on dustpans with proper support
- Free hinges/axles are banned for wedges/wedgelets.
- Ant Blades are banned for all bot types.
- No EternalFlame.py or logic.
- No servos UNLESS you can AI it yourself then feel free to send me the servo bot with the AI.
- No meltybrains.
- Clusterbots are banned.
- No weapon spam or stacking.
- No excessive extender spamming/stacking (Extenderbots are allowed of course but if you use extenders to armour your bot…. just use the armour panels!)
- The fights will take place on the RoboGames Arena.
- The fights will last for 3 minutes, if no clear at the end of the 3 minutes. I shall do the judging.
- I’ll be marking the fights on Control, Damage and Aggression. All criteria’s a worth 5 points.
- A robot is considered to be immobilized if any of the criteria are met in a match.
-- The 'bot's chassis has been destroyed and thus has been immediately knocked out.
-- The 'bot is unable to move in a controlled fashion on its own, such as if one wheel has been taken off while its still able to move. This will start the countdown for the 'bot in question.
-- If all locomotion has been stripped off, the countdown is reduced to 10 seconds before its eliminated.
-- The 'bot is completely unstable and cannot move without shaking out of control.
-- If a robot can’t get out of bounds (Since the arena doesn’t automatically end with an OOTA.)
- If a 'bot meets any of these criteria, a 30-second countdown is self-imposed by me, reduced to 10 seconds if all locomotion is gone. Once the countdown is up, the 'bot is eliminated regardless of what happens.
- The crash patch makes fights a lot better, but there will still be havoks around. If that happens and it severely affects the outcome of the fight in some way (such as throwing a 'bot OotA), the match will be restarted.
- I do have patience and will constantly re-record until a match occurs with no havoking. In a worst-case-scenario, the match will still have to feature minimal havoks.
- Similar to any sort of sports league, any robot can fight any other robot (Mostly at random) with all robots (That enter at the start) being guaranteed a minimum of 4 matches. We will have 1v1, Three-Way & Four Way rumbles.
- The object is to have the most points by the end of a season, the top 17 robots will advance to the finals.
- This is how the point system will work:
-- A win will award the winner 3 points.
-- If a match ends in a Judges Decision both robots will be awarded a point each (This includes for rumbles), with the winner of the Judge's Decision being awarded an extra point.
-- The robot that comes second in a rumble will be awarded one point.
- Anyone at any point is able to join the season, but obviously the earlier you enter the better chance you have a scoring more points to advance to the finals. But you won’t be guaranteed the min. 4 matches that the robots do that start with the series.
- As the final 17 advance to the finals automatically, the top 16 that manages to place under the top 17, will be placed in a Desperado tournament with the winner being granted the final spot.
- The finals will be using the McIntyre Finals System (Which is originally meant for the final 8) and since we have 16 instead of 8, this is how the system will work (People familiar with Rugby League will understand this system already).
-- The Top 8 will face off in Qualifying Matches, will the bottom 8 will face off in Eliminating Matches.
-- The Winners of the Qualifying Matches will receive a bye for the next round
-- The Losers of the Qualifying Matches will face off against the winners of the Eliminating Matches, The winners will advance.
-- From then on the top 8 will compete in a Single elimination match, until we get our winner.
I’m also going to open the sign-ups right away, with trying the concept of allowing people to enter as many entries as they wish for any of the Weight classes.
Once I get 30 entries (For any weight class) I will start to do shows, which unlike my previous tournaments, won’t have a set date for when episodes are uploaded.

The same rule about wiring, from Game of Robots is now enforced here too, so please send me a robot that has the wiring (Which includes naming the controls) done.
