Finals are up!

Now you may be looking at the video file and thinking "HOLY CARP THAT'S HUGE" but keep in mind that this includes all 16 fights rolled into one... if you do the math it comes out to less than 4 MB per fight, so not that bad. If it's too slow streaming then just right-click on the link under the video and select "Save Target As" to download it to your hard drive.

EDIT: Wait, as a wammer with static weapons, he cannot use pinning tactics, against Ironbot rules. That's a bit better, but still I don't like this.

As much as I try to remain neutral toward all of the bots in my own tournaments... I haven't yet decided which is worse, SFTW or ~~SFTW on stilts~~ D.O.G. :P

Golden Sun: Paint job is LAAAAME not like I can do any better It's sill a pretty good bot for my standard. Might get past the first round.
The beast: I'm up against this one. I'm not getting very far (but weapons with normals?)
Fang: I hope that's not steel armor...
Your Best freenemy: Jeez, that's a lot of maces! But 2wd on a HW rammer=not good idea
Grinding noise: Aren't pop-ups not allowed?
Rider of the Storm: I have doubts about the weapon's reach...
Supernovae: lulz razor-guy style (export and import chassis outline) paint job
Stratocaster: For a rammer, all weapons need to have the same reach...

We should really set up some sort of RA2 patent office... You can't just put maces on ULTIMATUM and call it your own bot, and then enter it in a tourney.

But then designs in stock would eventually die out (unless hax mode becomes mainstream and widely used).

PREDICTIONS

Big Dog: Looks pretty good. Still maybe 6WD is a bit too much. Or maybe Scrap wants to push opponents into the hazards ?

Black Vein: Looks cool. Let's see how the only wedged VS will fair.

Blood Shed: Didn't faired well in BBEANS5. Probably won't fair well here as well.

BoomBox: It's... generic...

Bullet Train: One of the best rammers here for sure.

D.O.G.:

Effing Stock: Not bad, but generic.

Fang: See Scrap's bot, but less good. It's not bad for a newbie though.

Frag Beetle: It looks really damn cool, don't know if it has the weapons to last O WAIT CLICK IS NOT ENTERING TO WIN

Freakazoidberg: Second VS, and a pretty good one. Can attack the top of most bots, making it even more fearsome.

Golden Sun: Not enough weapons to last. Will be most likely one of the first to die.

Grinding Noise: I wonder how I will fair. Most of the rammers I think I can beat, but I hope I can AI it well enough to beat most of the HS. By the way, it's not a popup, it's technically more of a VS. A special one that acts like a popup though

Meatshield Redux: Not enough weapons ! Also crap armor and too much drive.

One Way Ticket: Yeah, the Dark July clone is one of the ways to approach efficiently this sort of tournament. If it gets flanked however... oh, and it might get also pushed into the hazards :P

Overloaded Orbinaut 4: generic

Plutonium: A bit less generic than the other ones and the only clear hybrid here. I like it, let's see how it fairs.

ReFlection: It does look good.

Revolutions Per Minute: It looks dangerous. I would guess it outweapons all the 36HS. But SnS/HS is a pretty good idea for this.

Riders on the Storm: I don't get this poker...

speedy DX: Generic...

Stratocaster: it's probably going to fail

Supernovae 2.1: A little bit less generic than most other 36HS but then again why a single plow ?

T-88 Terminator: I still think that it doesn't have enough maces to conquer the arena.

The Beast: MOAR BEAR CLAWS

The Injection: Generic owait it's a poker. Looks decent enough.

This Fire: excuse me jack but wtf is this mess

Triceratops: Looks alright. Though it seems to be missing in weapon department. Maybe it's wammer-ness can cope with that ?

Trollestia 2: And yet again, GENERIC

Unexpected Nightmare: If not for the chassis shape i would say generic. But no. Doesn't looks very good.

Voulez-Vous: Another dedicated gut ripper. Tis cool to see more gut rippers. Maces aren't very good at this though, and the weapons might be too high for it's own gut-ripping abilities.

X-Press: And dang this single wedge... It does look pretty good though the chassis might be a bit too heavy and the plow doesn't look like it will help a lot.

Your Best Frenemy: Another Dark July style bot, this one looks like the best of the two, though the chassis looks a bit large and I don't know why Somebody did put rubbers on there.
