Conraa you're doing it wrong on armors.

Best armors are Steel 5, all titanium except Ti3, and plastic 3.

The rest is rather good to decent, with the exception of aluminium which is generally terrible.

The tank treads look out of place, the disk needs extender support or else it's not IRL, you only need an ant per spin motor and use the blue control board instead of the green one.
So does it have to be like Ripblade II or do I just have the motor stick out?

I think I know what Ripblade II is but I'm not sure if it has extender support or not.... But, here are some examples of bots who do have motor support, because I'm not really sure how to explain it. Feel free to draw inspiration and do whatever works best for you.

Bluuuh. Back from hiatus. Not sure if I should necropost but I might as well since this is my thread and I'll see if I did something wrong here. But yeah I've been spending time in DSL3 Beta. Not sure if any more AI robots has been made for it but I did got some that are usable.

I always loved Terrorhurtz and Killerhurtz. Added the prongs at the front to block against spinners as I axe them from above. In the words of Hak Foo. ANGRY CROW TAKES FLIGHT.

Yeah kind of rip off the chassis design from Original Sin just to deal with weight issues. At least it's more cooler looking. :P

Another rip off of another RoboGames bot, Federal MIT. Couldn't make it realistic unfortunately. It barely has any battery power.

Not a very good bot but a robot that's fun to look at.

Liking the look of the second one. Learn to skin and these could be pretty decent.

3rd one needs some weapon supports too.

I like the medieval looking shape of the axe, but it would probably look better and more sinister with a darker material.
Oh I'll be doing some banging.......

That was the only Terrorhurtz looking axe I can find unless someone can show how I can make it with the DSL 3 Beta parts. lol

Meanwhile I have this one driving issue with Rumble. It always steer to the right when I try to make it drive straight. Everything was set up as it should be. It still has that issue.

Rotating the wheels before putting them on usually helps with veering issues.

I think I figure out what may be the problem. Because Rumble's wedge is so low to the ground, it keeps hitting against it making it move awkwardly. Sometimes it jumps a bit when driving. lol Just like some robots hitting the tiles in real life.

Hellblau now with extenders. Manage to fit some good batteries to fit with in the weight limit for middleweights.

Practically I took Rumble's chassis design and cut it in half but doesn't form the H-shape like the Original Sin design. Smaller wedge. Wedging tactics can only get me so far but they're fun to drive.

That VS looks a lot better with the supports.

Is the new rammer now a MW compared to the old one, which I assume was a HW?

Nah. Rumble's still around. He just never won at all because he can't deal damage for sh**. It makes good fodder bot though.

MW Hellblau - Removed the spikes on the wheels because they add to the bot's already wide frame and often end up knocking it on its back when pushed against the wall.

MW Tremor -  Now it has three wedgespikes instead of one.

HW Rumble - Now has the wedgespikes that wasn't present on the previous picture.

A LW robot I never show here that does pretty well is Thrasher. He's too boring of a design and a pretty bad at one. So that's why I don't show him. It's literally a T-shaped bot with a spinning bar. Currently rethinking of how I should approach the design at this point.

EDIT:

New MW robot Prowler.

Any input on what I can do to add to realism of the design or something?

My LW Spinner, Ripple. Why I design it like this? I was going for a Chunk design buuuuut weight constraints. So I turned it into an angled horizontal spinner like Trimangle. Probably the worst idea yet.

DSL bars don't really do any damage, at least add a weapon on the ends

Kinda cool despite the useless weapon. Keep experimenting with that design I think you're off to a good start.

After exploring further with attaching drive motors outside the chassis. This is what I end up making.

I... have no clue what to do with this. But it's a start. I'll probably scrap the concept for something. It's supposed to have a flipper but eh. I haven't seen an effective design yet in DSL 3 Beta at the moment. Also big wheels are funny.
