its so bland and boring and ugly

thanks
hey you know what is more fun than dumb replies? actually listening to the comments and doing something about it
He can't do much with "IT SUX". Please don't berate people over not following your advice if you don't actually know how to give advice to begin with.
bland and boring means he needs to make it more creative and not so box-y, and ugly means he needs to make it prettier, either with a skin or just overall aesthetics. idk what kinda english class you took
No, you're just criticising it and not giving any advice. If you were giving advice then you would have said to make it prettier explicitly.
surely a normal thought process when someone criticizes something would be to try and fix it? is there really that much of a difference between saying it's ugly, and saying to make it less ugly?

bland and boring means he needs to make it more creative and not so box-y, and ugly means he needs to make it prettier,  either with a skin or just overall aesthetics.
You still haven't given any suggestions on HOW he can make it "more creative and not so box-y".  Anything like a "hey maybe you can do (thing) and that would make it look better" would have sufficed.
i wasn't feeling like writing out the list of things he could do to make a box look better, but if you want me to i can next time. looking at his other bots, he has some creativity already, just wasn't sure where it went with these last ones

Why bother posting if you're not really "feeling it", then?

but if you want me to i can next time
Go for it.
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.

And you assume Im simply ignoring your advice just because I didn't immediately post a new version?

Not even gonna consider that I was busy?

Sure. Why not?
i'm assuming you ignored my advice because you just said 'thanks', you could perhaps say 'oh okay cool i'll try and fix it'

Brah was thanking you for advice brah.

Looking real good. Some black tint on the chassis would really blend with everything.

Yeah make the chassis a little darker so it blends with the extenders more.

Also a logo or something on the top of the chassis wouldn't hurt.

Bot is cool, extender cage is really nice. Skin is kinda dull though.
To improve it, you could copy the black sections of the skin and keep them separate. Then change the simple grey to a grey metal texture, and then put the black parts back, but as an overlay on top. If the black doesn't stand out enough this way you can either play around with the contrast and brightness of the metal texture or duplicate the black text + edges overlay layer, and change the opacity of the top text layer until it looks about right.
This is all assuming you're using paint.net, though. If not, why not? :P

It's really easy to get used to paint.net and learn all the tools. You can pick up on all the basics on your own in no less than 10 minutes at the most.

moar bots yo

an old flipper that made it's way into paranoia's dsl 3 pack and went by the name of deflector. I rebuilt it in DSL 2, from the ground up, deciding that the design wasn't a bad one. the result was the lovechild of toro and bounty hunter. it is now an SHW called Cavalry.

i'm gonna update it later, but eh

Venum 2 receives an update

cleaner extender work on the leg and the 60 KG hammers have been replaced with 30 KG ones

I really like the new Venum 2. Small thing, but those spikes on the end of the extenders just add so much to the appearance, very cool stuff dude.

Cavalry's not bad, but I feel like it would look better if the flippers started a bit further back on the chassis (about at the edge of the second set of wheels maybe). Some side wheelguards and a cool skin would go a long way too. Otherwise, pretty cool.
